Moncrieff

Chris Breheny, aka Moncrieff, began his musical journey as a teenager after the tragic loss of his older brother and sister. Music had become the vessel that the burgeoning artist used to process emotions that at that point were threatening to overwhelm him. Relocating from Berlin to London, Breheny later called time on law studies and started songwriting full-time, with immense dedication.

After his debut single was played by Sir Elton John in his radio show, he kickstarted the latest chapter in 2022 when his single ‘Warm’ went to the top 10 on Irish Radio and saw him perform on Germany’s ARD Network (“Frühstücksfernsehen”), clocking millions of streams/views along the way. Since Moncrieff nabbed the 2023’s RTÉ Choice Music Irish Song of the Year award for ‘Warm’, the Irish pop artist has been busy in the studio, finishing off the new EP Self-Care, a collection of nine brand new songs.

Moncrieff also announced his debut album is ready, having recently been recorded between Grouse Lodge (Westmeath) and London. Catch his anticipated biggest Dublin headline gig so far in the 3Olympia Theatre on 7th May 2024.
